Forever Remembering
Clifford Leroy Atteberry died on July 17, 1944 due to war inflicted wounds. Like many other soldiers he had not even reached his 30s, losing his life as a 26-year-old Private First Class. While he only fought for around a year, he lived to fight in one of the most memorable Wars to the America. Without the millions of men and women who sacrificed their lives fighting, the world would have been left in a chokingly desperate time. Arguably, the fact that people have freedom to express themselves regardless of religion, race, sex, and identity, would have never been possible without the hazardous days these people fired back and forth.

Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France is where many of these soldiers now lay. Clifford Leroy Atteberry lays in Plot G Row 19 Grave 37.
